Kr.schuppen = krone schuppen = ?

Can't figure what is meaning of that, from this image & alpenflora - "Kr.schuppen die Kr. nicht/weit überragend" it might be flower pistil ?

English literature calls it "corolla scales". Symphytum flowers have a ring of scales on the inside of the corolla. Because of the bell shaped flowers it's hardly visible from outside, except for bulbosum. (The stamens are attached to the corolla between the scales, hidden inside the tube.)

Maybe, I don't know.
But I guess, if I would post image without link to source, then it would be necessary.
