There are some brown spots that for now does not seem to be rotten.
Note this potato purple is not black and according to price not rare.
Loc.: Canary islands

figured Solanum chaucha from text here: https://marcacanaria.com/en/las-papas-a ... %EF%BF%BC/
The skin is very dark reddish purple, almost black, with orange-brown spots
Any other opinion ?
Black potatoes, Negras Yema de Huevo or Negras Herrenas
any opinion, if fits, which variety is the one from top link ?

Hi,
the last link looks like a perfect match.

and according to this: https://pellagofio.es/gastroclub/produc ... xcelencia/
likely Corralera (4). ....

As I read somewhere all potatoes on Canary islands came from America, so anything found there, lookalike, could be the same.

offtopic: storage for me for later when cutting of something like that will happen...
