Also wie Du auf die Idee kommst, das verlinkte braune Heu auf iNat als Vergleichsreferenz zu benutzen, bleibt mir ein Rätsel. Und warum eine "seltenere Art"? Wunschgedanke?
Das ist wohl eine Art der früheren Gattung Spartina, die jetzt in Sporobolus eingegliedert ist, aber in der Flora Iberica noch separat geführt wird. Die sind in der Neuwelt ausgesprochen tricky, mit vielen Arten, aber in Spanien sind nur wenige gemeldet.
In Frage kommen vor allem Spartina patens und S. densiflora; wegen der ziemlich dicht am Stängel anliegenden Ährchen könnte das eher Spartina densiflora sein, eine südamerikanische Art, die auch schon bei Alicante gemeldet war. Das kannst Du aber selber schlüsseln: Flora Iberica Vol. 19(2), S. 1339 - 1351, mit Abbildungen.

Besten Dank. Der Vergleich bezog sich auf die Gattungsebene, aber wenn ich mich nicht irre, paßt sie sogar zur Art. Wenn ich das hier richtig interpretiere, dann gibt es nur Spartina patens in der Region. Die heißt jetzt Sporobolus pumilus. Okay, nicht selten.

The results show the differences between the two vegetation classes and that S. patens is able to transform the ecotope by colonizing these environments, decreasing salinity values. S. patens takes advantage of storms to spread."
