Single specimen, surrounded,I believe, with tons of V. odorata (no white specks on petals).
It adds to confusion that some vernaculars also calls Viola alba subsp. dehnhardtii, odorate.
Edit: or not single specimen, couple of such there, just does not seem white part to be decay.

No. There are several wrong conclusions on your side.
1. Almost every blue or violet Viola occurs from time to time in white forms (see also the post about white Viola hirta below). This white colour does not make it automatically to Viola alba. V. alba is defined by other properties.
2. "dehnhardtii" is a colour morph of Viola alba with blue spur (spur only!). It occurs from time to time within V. alba populations. This morph is not taken seriously any more and disregarded taxonomically.
Moral: Don't take corolla colour as main determination for any violet. Other details are way more important.
